Join a group on an awesome 4 mile canoe trip experience down the River Derwent from Darley Bridge to Matlock Bath in the Derbyshire Peak District
Suitable for teenagers to adults with good co-ordination required to get control of the canoes quickly on moving water. After a thorough safety briefing we begin our descent of the river, practising some canoe skills at the start in order to negotiate moving water, rapids, under bridges and avoid those rocks!! All this through some of Derbyshire's stunning scenery. Its two people to a canoe so if there is an odd number, one person paddles in the front of the instructors canoe. Max group size 5 people. (6 people - please contact me) Min Age 13yrs All u18s book with a parent attending. No dogs allowed. Led by a highly qualified and experienced instructor. Allow 2hrs 15min approx.
