River Derwent Water Level


Peaks and Paddles generally paddle this river with customers up to 0.90m subject to group size.

A reading of up to 0.65m makes for a pleasant canoe trip.
0.65m - 0.90m is faster flowing and has turned the water brown.
0.90m - 1.20m much faster flowing, brown, many more tree branches in the way
