A fantastic Kayak trip for those who have or havent been in a kayak before to experience with others. Instruction given at the start to get control of your tandem kayak, before going for a calm, nice and relaxed slow journey down the canal to High Peak Junction and return enjoying the abundant wildlife along the way. (Approx 1hr on the water) Suitable for family and friends 5yrs - Adults. Young children may now use lighter junior paddles or sit back enjoying the ride whilst paddled by the adult. kayaks can be paddled solo from the rear seat. max 14 people. All under 18s with a parent. Two teenagers can paddle a kayak together provided a parent is either in another kayak or actively walking along side supervising. The instructors role is to ensure everyone gets a degree of control over their kayak and safe passage along the canal whilst respecting other users / wildlife / canal boat. Alternative dates may be available to larger groups of 8 - 14 people - please enquire.
